‘Prefer nothing to the worship of God’ St Benedict

Every day of the year, in the morning and the evening, prayers are said or sung. The regular daily worship of God is the foundation of everything we do in Worcester Cathedral.

When the Cathedral is open you are welcome at any cathedral service and you can find details here.

Worcester Cathedral has been a place of Christian worship for fourteen centuries.
As well as our daily services we also have festival services, which occur during the calendar year, and special services that can be booked. The 1662 Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship of the Church of England are used daily.
There are a number of chapels within the Cathedral that can be used for private prayer and reflection. Candle stands are located outside the Jesus Chapel and in the Lady Chapel where you can also leave requests for prayers. Day chaplains are often available should you wish to speak to someone.

We welcome visitors of all faiths and no faith and all are invited to attend our services.
