‘Prefer nothing to the worship of God’ St Benedict
The regular worship of God is the foundation of everything we do in Worcester Cathedral. Worcester Cathedral has been a place of Christian worship for fourteen centuries. We welcome visitors of all faiths and no faith and all are invited to attend our services.
Open for private prayer and reflection only
To reflect the new national lockdown, the Cathedral will be open for private prayer and reflection (Monday-Saturday, 11am-1pm only) from 14 January (inclusive) until further notice.
The Cathedral will continue to live-stream an act of worship daily on the Worcester Cathedral Facebook page.
For a list of services that will be livestreamed and more information, please see our Services page.
Track and Trace System
In accordance with government and Church of England advice, all worshippers and visitors are strongly encouraged to use the ‘track and trace’ system in operation at the Cathedral. This takes two forms:
- You can scan the new NHS 'Test & Trace' QR code which will be clearly visible at the Cathedral entrance;
- Or you can complete a piece of paper with your contact details, for which you need to use your own pen (please note that pens are not provided), and place it in the ‘Track and Trace’ box by the north door.
Please note that you need to register attendance for each separate visit to the Cathedral. We will supply the attendance information to relevant authorities if it is requested, and you will not otherwise be contacted. We will not use the attendance information for any other purpose, and the emails and paper slips will be deleted/destroyed after three weeks.
