Learning with the Cathedral

Life Learning

Talks The Cathedral holds regular talks and lectures for example weekly during Lent and Advent. They are usually held in The Guesten, 15 College Green or the Old Palace. All are welcome and no tickets are required. Details can be found in the weekly Sunday News and on the What's On page.

Religion and Society Talks A series of online talks in partnership with the University of Worcester. Details of the next series will be published here in 2022.

The Worcester Lecture In partnership with the University of Worcester, the Cathedral hosts The Worcester Lecture annually. Previous speakers include former Health Secretary Frank Dobson, Lady Hale, QC and Keir Starmer, MP.

Conferences The Mayflower: Faith and Freedom Conference has been cancelled. It was to be held on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 April 2020. Marking the 400th anniversary of the pilgrims' voyage to the New World aboard The Mayflower, expert speakers were to explore the world of the pilgrims and the new one they forged.

Hobbies and Special Interests The Cathedral hosts regular workshops such as poetry, calligraphy and creative writing, watercolour painting and stone carving. For dates please see our What's On page

Adult Learning (in partnership with Worcestershire County Council). A range of courses are run at the Cathedral. Please see Worcestershire County Council's website for information and bookings.
