Worcester Cathedral has some beautiful stained glass windows. Much of the medieval glass was destroyed during the English Civil War but the Victorians did a fine job restoring the windows. Of particular note are the Great West Window (by John Hardman Powell) which shows scenes from The Book of Genesis - The Creation of the Earth, and the Great East Window which shows scenes from Jesus's life.
The windows in the Cloister tell the story of England from the 9th century to the 19th century and you should be able to spot significant figures from history. You can 'adopt' a cloister window as part of our 'Adopt a Piece of History' campaign. Click here for more information.
